COLL ELS ÀNGELS

The sanctuary of the Verge dels Àngels is located 481 meters high, in the Gavarres massif. From these summits you can see an extraordinary panoramic view of Girona, Baix Empordà, Medes Islands, Pirineus, Montseny and Les Guilleries.
From km 1-3 is the softer and less demanding stretch where we leave Girona at our feet, from km 3-6 the slope begins to intensify but at km 8 we have a small descent that allows a small break. The last 2 kilometers with an inconstant slope mix harder sections with easy ones. It is a relatively long pass that allows climbing at high speeds and without very hard slopes.

COLL ALT DE LA GANGA

The most oriental asphalted way of the Gavarres massif is Coll de la Ganga. Likewise, this layout has romantic reminiscences such as the passage from the interior of Girona to the coast.
The first kms are a false plate with an average slope that does not reach 1%. From the middle of the pass to the summit there is an average close of 5 or 6%, with some steeps of 8%.

COLL ROMANYÀ DE LA SELVA

Leaving the town of Calonge behind, we will begin a singular ascent to the Alt de Romanyà, crossing cork oak forests, through a typical landscape of the Gavarres massif.
Until km 5, in the middle of the pass, it is the softer and less demanding stretch, from km 5-7 the slope is intensifying and at km 7 there is 1 km of easy slope with a small descent. After that, there are 2 kms very hard to get to the top, linking through a plan to the village of Romanyà de la Selva.
